Okay, so there's some good news and bad news for all Coldplay fans. Remember how there were rumours that the band might be performing in India in November? Well, according to reports, it's confirmed. Coldplay is all set to perform in Mumbai on November 19.
Excited much? Well, hold on to that sudden burst of emotions!
There's a slight catch. The ticket prices for their concert range from 25 grand to 5 freaking lakhs! Yes! According to a report on Bollywoodhungama, the official tickets will go live on Book My Show on September 12 next week and prices start from Rs 25,000 to Rs 5 lakh a ticket. That's a little obscene, no? Rs 5 lakh to watch Coldplay - where does that leave common people like you or me?
Meanwhile it has come to our notice that there is a way by which you get a hold of some free tickets for the concert. This concert is a part of Chris Martin's Global Citizen Festival, created to mark the establishment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. And by doing certain 'social actions', which haven't been confirmed yet, you might be able to get some free tickets for yourself.
Also, Bollywood biggies like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, AR Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and other celebs are also scheduled to feature at the concert. Now, that sounds like one hell of an event, doesn't it? Now if only we had money.
